Greetings!

As the 2010/2011 Employment Chairperson for the NCMA Denver Chapter, I am honored and excited to assist NCMA members with the employment function for this chapter. My thoughts right now are focused on what contribution I will make that would benefit the members of this organization. I am leaning towards first offering the traditional role responsibilities by ensuring the job postings are current and resumes of job seekers are there for members to review.

Second, I believe the best and most important benefit for the members is to offer my experience, advice, and coaching to members regarding employment inquiries. What jobs are out there? Truly what is networking? What are employers looking for? What interviewing techniques really make the positive lasting impression?

I can keep the members apprised on the pulse of Denver’s job market. I am willing to address these questions and offer information to build a career bridge for the members of this chapter. This is a picture of what I can offer to the members of NCMA and I look forward to the challenge of being the Employment Chairperson.
