Blake Couture, currently a Senior Manager of Contracts for Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., has over 20 years experience in both commercial and government acquisition environments dealing with all contract types and acquisition environments from supplies, services, construction, A&E, IT, Legal and HR. In addition, Blake has vast experience in proposal review and development, prime and subcontract management, risk management and mitigation, training, policy and procedures and internal audit.

Blake has served in various contractual/procurement capacities within the DOD, DOE and commercial community supporting such organizations such as: AT&T, Level 3 Communications, EG&G Rocky Flats and the USAF. As a Contracts Training Instructor for the U.S. Air Force, Blake provided instruction to all active duty DOD, Civilian and Foreign National personnel in Contract Negotiations and Contract Administration.

Blake is also President of CPCM Consulting, Inc., a woman owned small business concern, which was founded to provide Contract Acquisition Services to commercial mid-cap and small businesses, providing Contract assistance and guidance for market entry and working with the Federal Government, review and respond to RFP's, policy and procedure development, internal audit of procurement systems, compliance with Federal Regulation Terms and Conditions/Flow-downs, SB/SDB Business Plans and reporting, review of Terms and Conditions to assess business and corporate risk, along with mentoring and training.

Blake earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Central Michigan University, a Master of Arts Degree from Webster University in Procurement and Acquisition Management and is a Certified Professional Contracts Manager. Blake has been a member of the Denver Chapter since 1988.
