Chair - Scholarship
Phil Seckman has been a member of the NCMA Denver Chapter since 2004. Phil serves as the Scholarship Chair for the 2009/2010 program year.
Phil is an associate attorney with the law firm of McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP. Phil is a member of the firm's government contracts department and counsels clients concerning a wide range of government and commercial contract matters, including contract formation, cost and pricing, and the assessment and presentation of complex contract adjustment requests, Freedom of Information Act issues, as well as investigations and counseling work regarding contract and regulatory compliance, control and monitoring issues. Phil also has experience pursuing and intervening with regard to federal bid protests as well as litigating disputes in various federal and state courts, and federal government contract administrative boards.
Phil graduated from the University of Denver College of Law and served on the board of editors of the Denver Journal of International Law & Policy.
As Scholarship Chair, Phil is responsible for soliciting applicants for scholarship funds, as well as identifying and pursuing contributions to fund the scholarship program.
