Dolly Fernandez is
the Chief of Contracts at the National Park Service’s
Denver Service Center since June 2003. She leads a staff of 40 contract
specialists, procurement technicians, support staff and contractor
personnel in delivering and managing contracts in excess of $150 million
annually for design and construction services for the NPS’s nationwide
portfolio. She has enjoyed and been challenged by a two-decade career
in federal procurement for the Park Service, the Air Force, and the
U.S. General Services Administration.
She also had the privilege and pleasure of living in Madrid, Spain, for several years and studying at the University of Madrid and, consequently, is fluent in Spanish.
Dolly has been active in the Denver Chapter of the National Contract Management Association for the last seven years and this year holds the position of chapter Corporate Sponsor Chair.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Seton Hill University,
Greensburg, PA, and is completing a B.A. degree in business administration
from Columbia College, Aurora, CO.
