Angie Burke President NCMA Denver Chapter

The National Contract Management Association (NCMA) is a professional non-profit association and premier resource for the contract management community, governed by volunteer members. I am honored to serve the Denver Chapter this program year as its President, with the help of the Board of Directors and Board of Advisors. The Denver Chapter strives to bring our members meaningful experiences throughout the program year for professional and leadership development, education and training, and professional and social networking to advance your career in contract management. You can learn about these opportunities on our website, our monthly newsletters, on social media,or by attending the Board of Directors’ monthly meetings. We welcome our members’ input into how we can better serve our community, this program year and in the future, so please reach out to us. I look forward to seeing you at one of our events soon.

Thank you,

Angie Burke

NCMA Denver Haunted Pub Crawl:

When: Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 5:30PM to 8:30PM MST

Where: Blake Street Vault (1526 Blake Street, Denver, CO 80202)

Denver has a reputation all itsown, and it is best explored with a drink in hand. Stroll through thestreets of downtown exploring haunted basements and tunnels that once led tobrothels, prohibition bars and the old red-light district.

You will meet your guide at5:30 p.m. at the historic Blake Street Vault in LODO (1526 Blake Street), whereyou will be led into the basement to hear about some spirits with unfinishedbusiness. From there, your guide will "wander" into what wasonce the red-light district and share chilling tales of bribery, westernjustice and the seedier side of the city's reputation. Tours last about 2.5hours, including plenty of time to calm your nerves with a few strong spiritsalong the way.

The purchase of drinks is notincluded (or required) in the $15 registration fee, so be prepared for somedown time at each bar if you choose not to drink.  You may ask your guideto regale you with personal experiences, which may lead to hearing about moreskeletons than ghosts.

If you are looking for strong spirits, or chillyghosts, you cannot find a better way to explore all of the Nightly SpiritsDenver has to offer.  More information available at https://nightlyspirits.com/denver-tours/
